Place the falafel ingredients into a food processor in batches and pulse a few times for 15 seconds each, just until minced and combined. Do not overprocess—the mixture should be coarse, not a paste. Transfer each batch to a large bowl and repeat until all ingredients are processed.
Stir the mixture in the bowl to ensure all ingredients are evenly combined.
Using a 3-tablespoon scoop or melon baller, scoop and pack the falafel mixture. Release the ball into your hands and gently form it into a compact ball. Place the ball in a greased air fryer basket, ensuring the falafel balls are not touching. Repeat until the basket is full.
Air fry at 380℉ for 25 minutes, gently flipping the falafel at the 19-minute mark.
Continue scooping, forming, and air frying until all the falafel mixture is used.
Serve the falafel in warm pita bread with hummus, tahini sauce, lettuce, and tomato. Enjoy!
